Its a little bit of both. The rhythm is actually the way lifeguards (at least at my school) are trained to count time when giving rescue breaths. "One one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, one, breathe. One one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, two, breathe."
The last bit is the way you count when giving CPR. "One and two and three and four and--"
I thought of it because I'm training to be a lifeguard, and my friend is terrified of water.
I am not brave, I am only just, for fear knows no man's name better than the one called "fearless", but there is no fear in love.
