Application! Let me know if it needs tweaks.

Name: Lorenzo Vorgotta
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Description: Often cloaked in a brown travelling cloak with a black trim, Lorenzo is hard to spot in a crowd. His hair is jet black and covers his right eye. This is because, due to his 'magic' the pupil became a slit and the iris turned red. Beneath his cloak he carries a sabre as a primary weapon, and a kukri knife as a secondary.
Personality: For the most part he is calm and collected, and focuses on the task at hand. His mind quickly calculates a strategy before any situation. However, if his 'magic' begins to arouse, he becomes more chaotic and wild. While it affects him, it never takes over entirely, preventing his emotions from causing him to lose a fight.
God/Goddess: Cudohr
Backstory: The Vorgotta family had a long history of assassination and espionage. He never knew or was told about his mother. From a young age, his father trained Lorenzo to be his successor as they travelled the land as his father completed... tasks. A few years prior to today, his father began to show signs of ageing, and Lorenzo took upon his first task, unaided. The target was a fire elemental, who had been burning the crops of a small, isolated village near the Teonella border. The residents would pay well for his demise. Lorenzo tracked down the fire elemental, and launched an attack while resting in it's passive form. The fight was brief, and ended with Lorenzo striking down the elemental before it could change into it's active form. Something was... odd, about this elemental. It didn't seem sane, and fought wildly and randomly. As the elemental fell, a strange, dark magic leapt from it, ran down Lorenzo's blade and buried into his hand. After some research, he found similarities between what he'd seen and an old curse that drove the victim mad, and jumped to a nearby person when the victim died.
Magic: (Optional) The curse Lorenzo obtained had become weak over time, and so far hasn't affected him mentally. However, when it latched to him it brought some of the fire element's spirit with it. Over time Lorenzo became able to use very basic pyromancy in his right hand, where the curse entered, and is able to engulf his fist in flames... most of the time. It remains rather unreliable.
Other: In his travellers, he keeps his eyes open for any history of his family, or even remaining members. Including his unknown mother. Flight of the Silverbird is one of my many favourites :D

[Ace]
I strolled along the forest trail after waking up in a small, trashy inn I spent the night in. I had woken up, grabbed some tea and bread, and began my walk. I headed through trees, hands in the large pockets of my peculiar looking trench coat. I reached the campsite eventually, where a girl resided, holding a map. I leaned against a nearby tree, about ten feet away from her. I thought a moment before speaking. "So, a nephillim, huh? Always good people to be around- fellow necromancers can be a bit psychotic and bloodthirsty from time to time..." My irises changed to slits as if to prove to the girl I was a nephilim, though my height at 6' was more than enough to tell. I took the last bite of my bread and a sip of my tea out of the flask hidden inside my coat.

Twillor heard people in the distance and the smell of a fire, from what he was told he wasn't too far from the others, He had hoped this wasn't a set-up and if it was he wouldn't let anyone get away. He would have the upper-hand on anything because he was great at what he did. Twillor dropped down from the trees and walked towards the encampment, he began prepping a speed spell to get him ready for any threats, his hands together like praying but making intricate signs all the same, his fingers never disconnecting from each other, his dagger sat in it's holder on his left hip so he'd draw it with his right, ready to strike like a snake, mumbling his casting under his breath. He came out behind a tree so the others saw him but he made his casting less noticeable and more like a pray.
People need to be told they're worthy of being alive by someone else or they can't go on.

OOC: Phew, will do! I get super anxious after a make an application :D

I'm close The cloaked traveller thought to himself. He glanced at the note he had received. Ceimari Forest, that's where I am... He slowly spun around, taking in the forest around him. The track he walked down was fairly well-used. He bent down and examined some of the prints. Most of these are at least a few days old... He thought. Except theses...He traced his fingers over a pair of fresh tracks. They went in the direction of a wisp of smoke above the treetops. These are new. Very new. Defiantly today. Perhaps they are also going to my destination...
Not long after he started following these tracks he heard voices. He nimbly darted into a tree to get a better view. A small camp had been made and a fire had been started. Better see if this is the place He thought, dropping from the tree and landing softly.
"Tara the unspoken?" He enquired, approaching the nearest person, a young woman (Tara). Surely this can't be right. He thought. What is someone so young doing alone in a forest? Then again... by her age I'd helped end the lives of many people... it would be foolish to judge someone by their age alone.

Name: lentless “low” lake
Age: 18
Gender: male
Race:Human
Description: For his description, think of a young man that with a somewhat thin but fit frame, dark brown eyes, and the hair on his head being short and somewhat curly. Normally wears a somewhat worn, brown long sleeve shirt, light gray pants, and some dark brown leather shoes.
When traveling he tends to ware some sort of cloak in either gray or black with a more well made shirt underneath.
Personality: Dispite being a “unbelver” he did not care much about who they wership. He cares more about the person themselves. As a result he more or less treats the majorady of people with kindness. If they insist in talking about about religion he will try to sare is own view.
God/Goddess: none
Backstory: lent is a orphan and had no parents. So for the most part he atends a bording school foced on the use of magic in many applications. For the most part his life was normal, until he receaved that letter. Now he is traveling across the land to find this mysterious person.
Magic: (Optional): He duel welds wands made with from the black rocks in the The Onyx Reach and some choper. He knows a somewhat decent variety of spells although only half of the spells that he has are able to do any sort of damage with the other haff being more oriented toward utility (he knows about 10 spells in total).
Other: has training in using swords (mostly rapiers) but he finds them a bit odd and hard to carry.
(song: waterflame-invaders)
(self proclaimed) master of causing unexpected circumstances.

OoC: Okay, Laix. I fear I can't accept your character due to a few things. I half expected people to pick a god, so I didn't really have anything set up for the Onyx Reach peeps until later. Your magic count is much too high. Could you maybe reduce it to two or three? This time period doesn't exactly have 'schools' per say, and if you were to learn magic, you'd learn it from your family memebrs, a priest or priestess, or objects that have been enchanted. I see that you're aiming for a more magic based character, and I suppose I can make it work, but only if you can justify having a magical object. Also, I'm going to ask this very, very politely, but could you mabe work on your grammar and spelling the tiniest bit? I'd be happy to help you if you need any. Just fix those things and I'll accept it.

As for everyone else, I'm waiting for one more post of the journey (two once I accept Laix) then I'll post a response. If he doesn't post anything by tomorrow, I'll just go ahead and say that he's late.
Let's just all pretend I know what I'm doing, okay?
