Pokemon Ace Detectives. Case 1: Picking Up the Pieces

POV: "Of Course, let's go." Amelia motioned for looker to go first, before following behind in suit. Quinn was there, as well as Sam. He said something about starting the investigation, but she waited for looker to reply.

[Fireally]

Quinn "Only one problem, I'm under strict orders not to interfere with you, Mr.Looker. Speaking with you already has violated my orders"

Looker. That was what they called him? "I understand the need of secrecy. But I believe our lawyer and investigator here have no intention on following those orders, yet, still work with you"

Quinn put his hands in his hair. He could be court marshalled, but Looker had a point and Amelia was approved to work with him. She had no such orders... He pulled out the PokeNav "Let me speak with our other two members about how they feel about this" he then phoned Jose and Seth Shield about the situation of Looker wanting to come with, even though that was against their orders from the IP.

Seth "We technically never interfiered with Looker. Amelia and Sam did. That is following orders. No one said Looker couldn't seek us for assistance either. That's how I see it. Besides, he'll likely figure out this whole thing before we do at his rank"

Quinn turned "Very well," he extended his hand out to Sam and Looker "It looks like you're on board for the case. Amelia, do you know of any way of contacting anyone who knows anything about Looker and what may have happened, or perhaps who found him?"

Sam:
I shook her hand. "Thank you." I turned to looker. "I wont let you down."

[The Brick]

POV: "Actually, looker was able to get me some details on the man who found him on the shore." Amelia said. "Once a detective, always a detective, Ey?" She motioned for looker to tell them what he told her.

[Fireally]

Looker stepped forward "Well, this is all the little memory I have, I awoke on the shore, being helped out by a young man to my feet and the lady at the building back there took me into her cabin here at the resort to try and help me out. The young man visited me in there a few moments later. His name was Brenden, a Pokemon trainer who wears mainly red and black with a green one strap backpack and a white hat."

Quinn had the Pokenav transmit the speech to Jose and Seth "We should probably congregate together and come up with a plan. I say that place should be Mossdeep City. They're the closest gym location to the both of us. We can see if Brenden came through there."


Kai sat in the grass as May and Brenden came out. She gave him a hug before he played a flute and a red and white Pokemon came down fast as he hopped onto its back and shot through the treeline. May looked up as he left and noticed Kai was still there "Kai, do you know where you want to go from here? I can't help but feel like you may be a little lost here after visiting my father"

OOC: sorry for the inactivity. I haven't had a chance to post much

Kai was deep in thought thinking about what was going on. From these two young trainers, to the pokemon in space, all the way to the gym leaders, there was a lot going on. Kai had to sort it out. He was consumed in thought when May's comment reminded him that the real world was a thing. And sitting there was a little awkward.

"Well, I've collected a ton of information from my trip. I think i'll head back to Mossdeep city to find a bit more info to complete what I have. Hopefully that will bring me somewhere. Wheres Brenden going?"

Sam:
"You recall nothing from before the accident?" I asked.

[Fireally]

May "Brenden is visiting another one of his friends. Can you find your way back to Mossdeep on your own?"


Looker shook his head. Within the next few hours, they were all back at Mossdeep City. Jose and Seth had just come back from the scuba trip and everyone was on the dock. Seth and Jose had yet to present their evidence to everyone.

[Fireally]

Seth Shield "From what we have taken a look at, the ship seems to point towards going down from Kyogre. However, no life rafts were sent out from what I could see. No bodies, either."

Quinn nodded "Most peculiar. However, in the meantime, we should split up and look for any information we might not have. We need to look into the gym here, see if we can get more information from the Mossdeep Space Center, and if we can, see what the former champion Steven Stone may have learned, as he lives here."
