IRC Channel?

Can we have a IRC channel so we can talk with each other, I never really used Woodhaven forums but loved the chat room, but cant find the link to get back on it. Even if you do still have the chat room I would like a switch to IRC so I can use it on any device I want to.

Chat systems are in the works, but it will be either ajax or xmpp based, not irc. IRC is outdated and more complicated than it must.

A lot of technically competent people still use and prefer irc but personally I can't recall the last time I used it.

If anyone is interested in a Hangouts group chat I would be willing to start one.

Ajax-based chat, or XMPP are easier to integrate into the forum software. I don't want people to have to make yet another account in order to use chat.
